Time Out says

He was one of the top DJs on the Detroit house scene in the 1980s, mentored by the late, great Ken Collier, but Delano Smith has never been a very productive producer. That's why it's always worth paying attention when he does release something: this time, it's upcoming compilation album Detroit Lost Tapes, which ought to be a real treasure chest for the nostalgically minded. Catch the veteran at Contact, where he'll be flanked by underground house ace Leon Vynehall, who can work expertly through anything from slow-burning basement cuts to in-yer-grill bangers.
