Time Out says

Though he's signed to the famously austere electronica label Raster-Noton, Kangding Ray has conjured some unashamedly lovely moments in the past, no less so than on 2008 breakthrough album Automne Fold. His latest full-length disc, 2015's Cory Arcane, was a far more conceptual and innovative effort that, although hard to follow at times, provided plenty of excitement for techno nerds. Back in Tokyo after a two-year break, he's now hitting Contact together with experimentally minded locals Ryo Murakami, Ena and Wata Igarashi.
