Push & Pull 4th Anniversary

One of Shanghai's top parties for discerning clubbers since 2013, the grime-focused Push & Pull night started making excursions to Tokyo last year and now celebrates four years in the beat business at Hatagaya's Forestlimit. Aiming to strengthen the emerging ties between the underground scenes in China and Japan, Push & Pull, which is now also a record label, will be rolling out a lineup that spans grime, gqom and garage, led by Shanghai stars Swimful, a British-born producer whose relatively recent turn towards grime has already earned the praise of genre bigshots such as Kode9, and Hyph11E, a member of Genome 6.66 Mbp, currently one China’s most exciting labels and crews. Rounding out the bill will be Push & Pull co-founder Alta and Tokyo's own grime warriors Wrack and Chocola B.
