Opened with great fanfare last weekend, new Shibuya club Contact promptly ran into trouble with the authorities (surprise), and now appears to be operating on a membership system until further notice. Luckily, all you need to do is sign up on the club's website in exchange for access to this improv-heavy Friday evening highlight, headlined by glitchy Atlanta-based sound designer Richard Devine, purveyor of all kinds of modular synth mastery. Electronica rebel Aoki Takamasa and Sardinian ambient experimentalist SaffronKeira will also be bringing their beats to the table, making this one unmissable for anyone bored of generic electronic music.
