Secretbox feat. DJ Garth

The UK-born DJ Garth is a pioneering spinner of eccentric house sounds who first rose to international fame via his early-’90s involvement with San Francisco's Wicked Sound System, and slightly later through such landmark productions as Twenty Minutes of Disco Glory. Much like his West Coast comrade DJ Harvey, Garth is a wily DJ of far-flung rhythms, liable to drop a bit of rock, dub reggae, disco and/or the indescribable in the midst of his four-to-the-floor sets. This edition of Zero's retro-biased Secretbox night also features Chee Shimizu (aka Discosession), a local authority on obscure records from Italo disco to Japanese oldies.
