Velvet Season & The Hearts of Gold

Expect delightful disco bliss at Vent on the first evening of September, as special guest act Velvet Season & The Hearts of Gold will be conquering the one-year-old Omotesando club's booth for most of the night. A combo of Black Cock Records co-founder Gerry Rooney, a long-time DJ Harvey associate known for spinning an eclectic mixture of high-gloss cosmic, ecstasy and Italo disco, and Joel Martin of Quiet Village, the duo, who are playing in Japan for the first time, are set to close out summer with a dancefloor-breaking bang. Organisers Mild Bunch Sound System and a handful of guest DJs will be providing capable backup.
