Wasted – Soup 10th Anniversary

From its humble beginnings as an unlicensed party spot, Ochiai's Soup has blossomed into one of Tokyo's prime venues for fans of noise, improv and other determinedly uncommercial sounds. Now celebrating a full decade in business, it welcomes London-based experimental digitalist and Editions Mego label boss Peter Rehberg aka Pita, whose raw, primeval sounds still retain their power to shock – as evidenced by new album Get In, the first Pita LP since 2004. The host of regulars includes Miclodiet, Painjerk and Koba.
