Time Out says

Continuing the legacy of much-loved club Loop, Aoyama’s Zero started life back in 2013 when the old venue’s staff ganged up to open a new space right next to where they used to spin and put on parties. After four years of taking things ‘back to basics’, the Zero folks now put on this two-day birthday bash. On Friday, expect the analogue sound system to be stretched to its limits by eminently influential Italian spinner Beppe Loda; through his work at clubs like Typhoon and Cosmic in the '80s, Loda pioneered what came to be known as the Afro sound, a swirling, psychedelic stew of synth material, African and other world rhythms, progressive rock and jazz, disco and plenty more. Saturday, meanwhile, sees a more laidback set-up in the form of resident DJs Nori and Calm.
