Time Out says

In conjunction with its 15th anniversary, The French Kitchen at Grand Hyatt Tokyo is bringing back six of their award-winning cakes for a special afternoon tea buffet. There are three cakes in particular, themed after the circus, which received accolades at the 2012 Mondial des Arts Sucres, a prestigious international pastry competition held in France.

Soleil is a bright, tropical fruit cake made with pineapple, mango, passionfruit and white cheese. Lumiere, on the other hand, is a perfect pairing of pistachio with raspberry-flavoured chocolate mousse. But if you like your dessert dark and complex, the rich chocolate ganache tart called Cirque should do the trick.

The cakes will be featured on a rotating basis every two weeks, and they are accompanied by a variety of sweet and savoury treats. There’s the hotel’s famed eclairs, along with mango pudding, ricotta cheese tarts and more – all to be enjoyed with one of three premium organic teas from the Los-Angeles brand, Art of Tea.
