BTS fans can cosy up to their favourite BT21 characters at this pop-up café at the Shibuya Box Cafe & Space in Shibuya 109. Inspired by the Korean boy band's self-designed Line app characters (known as BT21, in case you didn't know), the menu here includes adorable food, drinks and desserts themed after the seven animated characters: RJ, Shooky, Mang, Koya, Chimmy, Tata and Cooky. For an extra dash of cuteness, the café is dedicated to the baby versions of the BT21 crew.
Playful dishes include Shooky's beef stew, Koya's cream pasta, RJ's banana split and Tata's chocolate fondue. Insta-worthy Balloon Sodas are also on the menu, topped with fluffy clouds of cotton candy, or go for a café latte or milk tea featuring images of your favourite characters. Original merchandise will also be sold at the café including keychains, washi tape, mugs, stickers and tote bags.
You'll want to make your reservations now as the café only admits guests for set time slots listed on the website. A reservation will cost you ¥715 in advance for a session of 80 minutes at the café, and you can book here (only in Japanese). There's also a bonus for making a booking: you'll receive an original BT21 clear file folder as a gift. Drinks also come with collectable coasters which you can take home with you.
