Missed out on a garden terrace spot at Aoyama's charming Kihachi during its autumn 'Champagne Terrace' celebration? Well, you're getting another shot now: due to popular demand, the restaurant is extending its dinner special until December 17, and adding a little extra something to the menu. Two varieties of free-flowing G. H. Mumm champagne will be complemented by a 'double fondue' consisting of four kinds of cheese on one side and rice bran oil on the other, while the dipping ingredients range from winter veg to seafood like prawns, scallops and smoked salmon. You'll have to fork out ¥6,800 for the pleasure, but trust us – it's well worth it, especially with the surrounding ginkgo trees turning gloriously yellow from mid-November on.
