Full Moon Wine Party

Time Out says

Free magazine Metro Min. has got into the habit of organising wine parties to coincide with each full moon, based on the belief that the heightened barometric pressure at that time of the month makes plonk taste better. Even if you think that's a load of superstitious nonsense, you might be tempted to attend their latest party, which is being held at Antipodean outpost Bills Odaiba. The ¥5,000 cover charge gets you over 100 natural wines to sample, plus a food buffet including the famed Bills ricotta pancakes and wagyu burgers, along with a selection of culinary treats from, er, Niigata Prefecture. Note that you'll need to register via the Metro Min. website (Japanese only) by February 29 if you want to go.
