Settle in for a vibrant afternoon tea at Grand Hyatt Tokyo’s The French Kitchen. All items in the tea set are made from irregularly shaped but still top shelf fruits – including fruit from the cacao – which would normally be discarded.
Dine on a selection of fruity shortcakes and tarts as well as matcha and pistachio sweets including pistachio cake and matcha éclairs. The highlight of the afternoon tea is the surprise ball dessert, featuring a white chocolate ball filled with vanilla ice cream and berries, which melts open when warm matcha sauce is poured on top.
