Oxomoco is the Tokyo outpost of the popular Brooklyn-based – and Michelin-starred – Mexican restaurant. Tucked into a quiet corner of Roppongi Hills, Oxomoco has reopened in the area following its move from Hiroo. Start with the guacamole (¥2,400) and a frozen margarita (¥1,500), then work your way through their signature soya marinated tuna tostada (¥2,000), tacos, mole and more. Flavours are a fresh and punchy mix, such as the refreshing Spanish mackerel and scallop aguachile with burnt eggplant and herbs (¥1,800), lightly fried beef tartare with grasshopper mayonnaise (¥1,650), and half roasted chicken with spiced red rice and black beans (¥4,200). You could also opt for the dinner set menu (¥6,500, five courses).
