While Shibuya offers countless burger eateries, Whoopi Goldburger differentiates itself from the rest with its burgers named after celebrities. The standard Whoopi Gold-burger (¥1,100) comes with lettuce, tomato, onion and a charcoal grilled patty with its specialty sauce, sandwiched between a toasted sesame bun. Add avocado to make it a Helena Bonham-burger (¥1,320), or a Sarah Jessica-burger (¥1,560) for double patty and cheese. All burgers come with your choice of french fries or mashed potatoes on the side, but you can opt to swap it for a healthy salad for an extra ¥110. While the menu offers nine variations of burgers, plus a few seasonal flavours, you can customise any of them with additional toppings like jalapenos (¥110), coriander (¥200), smoked mozzarella (¥220), fried egg (¥130) and more.
The shop seats up to 11 people at the counter where you’ll get to watch the chef create your burger right in front of you. There’s also additional terrace seats that fit up to a party of six that’s open year-round.
