This festival takes place around Ebisu's historical Beer Hill, where carriages full of golden goodness once passed through on their way from the old factory to wholesalers and consumers in the city. Local stores tout their wares at stalls along the road from the Ebisu-yonchome crossing toward Maison Franco-Japonaise, 1,500 servings of free sanma in soup are distributed and the local kickboxing gym puts on a show – all in the name of tasty brews.
