The Edogawa area has been known for its goldfish breeding since the late 1800s, and this festival also boasts decades of history. Stroll around admiring shiny specimens of more than 20 kinds, buy some for your own aquarium, or try kingyo sukui (goldfish scooping). Great for families with small kids – especially if you live nearby.
