Time Out says

Celebrate the long-awaited cinema release of 'Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time' at Tokyo Skytree with this themed transformation. The two observation decks and spiral walkway will be specially decorated based on the anime series. Between 6.45pm and 8pm daily, the entire tower will be lit in five different colour combinations every three minutes, to match the colour scheme of the five Eva mechs that appear in the series.

Step into the elevator designed to look like the cockpit of an Eva mecha and travel 350m up to Tokyo Skytree’s first observation deck. Make sure to take an Instagram photo with the series’ signature purple mecha before moving up the spiral walk, which hosts an Evangelion exhibition.

The top awaits with another photo spot featuring female Eva pilot Rei Ayanami, plus a gallery introducing the past three Evangelion movies, starting with 'Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone' (2007). There’ll be videos projected on the windows of the tower at the Skytree Round Theater, plus an Evangelion-themed menu at the on-site café. Don’t forget to pick up some souvenirs as well, which range from Evangelion cookies and jelly to keyholders, magnets and T-shirts.
