Vegetarians might want to steer clear of the Gotanda area during this carnival of unbridled carnivorism. 55 restaurants in the neighborhood are participating, so pick up a five-pack of tickets and explore the town, enjoying special meat-heavy dishes prepared specifically for the occasion (one ticket gets you one food item plus one drink). In addition, there will be a special opening event on November 23 at the Gotanda Station West Exit square. Produced by TV personality Karateka Irie, this event will feature a nikushoku-joshi pageant as well as introductions by participating local restaurateurs.
