Time Out says

Golden Week is one of Japan's peak periods for travelling, but you don’t have to venture far from Tokyo to experience culture from different parts of the country. Kawasaki's La Cittadella shopping mall takes a trip to Okinawa every year, with five days of food, music and dance from Japan's southernmost prefecture. It’s a great chance to experience traditional Okinawan culture such as eisa dancing and local music. There’s also more than 75 stalls selling Okinawan soba, tropical mocktails and Okinawa’s Orion beer.

While you’re in the neighbourhood, head across the road to Club Citta for a full-scale Okinawan music festival on May 5. You can listen to native Okinawan musicians like Kazufumi Miyazawa, Yu Shimabukuro from Begin, Alberto Shiroma from Diamantes and many more. Tickets cost ¥6,600 and are available for purchase now from Ticket Pia and Eplus. You also need to buy a ¥600 drink ticket at the venue.
