Head over to Seibu Ikebukuro and sample Hokkaido's specialties and spring treats, all under the theme of 'melt (in the mouth)'. 80 different restaurants and shops will serve their signature delicacies made from local Hokkaido ingredients. That includes 'Yokoichi's snow-melting spring pizza with plenty of cheese' (¥1,581 – we presume the cheese is the melting thing here), 'Murakami‘s fresh sea urchin rice bowl' (¥4,320), made with exquisite uni freshly caught from Hokkaido's southern coast in season, and the 'Strawberry White Roll' (¥1,296) from Hakodate’s premium roll cake specialty shop.
