Other business may be struggling badly, but Japan's toymakers actually saw a growth in sales in 2011 – and if that isn't cause for celebration, we don't know what is. Have a gander at some of their latest creations – and discover what your kids will be pestering you to buy them next – at this weekend's International Tokyo Toy Show. The largest event of its kind in Japan features displays from Bandai, Mattel, Square Enix and many others, plus a dedicated area where kids are actually allowed to play with some of the toys.
