Japan-China Exchange Festival

This weekend festival at Yoyogi Park celebrates the 50th anniversary of political normalisation between Japan and China with a host of Chinese entertainment and delicious spread of food. The Japan-China Exchange Festival will feature around 40 stalls serving classic and regional Chinese dishes including mapo tofu and dumplings. There’s even a space set up to screen the latest videos of Ueno Zoo pandas Xiao Xiao and Lei Lei. Famed Chinese musician Wei Wei Wu will also be performing on stage with her erhu, a traditional two-string instrument.
