Hosted by Saten Japanese Tea, the Japan Matcha Latte Art Competition will be held this year at Dotcom Space in Harajuku. Eight finalists have been selected from 62 applicants, and they will be competing to be the best matcha latte art barista in Japan.
There’s a ¥2,000 entry to watch the competition as two-time international latte art winner Nobumasa Shimoyama from Pathfinder X Nobu, Naoya Akagawa from Little Darling Coffee Roasters and Shinya Sakurai from Sakurai Tea score the participants’ artistic foam creations.
