After a five-year-long hiatus, Jazz Auditoria is returning to multi-facility complex Waterras in Kanda this April for three days of live music performances. This outdoor jazz festival aims to take the popular music genre out from the formal confines of a music club and into the open, making it accessible to the wider public.
Organised by legendary jazz club Blue Note, Jazz Auditoria brings together some of the most talented jazz players from around the world for a string of free concerts at the Waterras. Complete with a market and a mobile kids playground, the event is perfect as a family outing.
For this year’s festival, expect to see sensational jazz bands such as swingoza+ led by world-renowned percussionist Gen Ogimi, the Blue Note Tokyo All-Star Jazz Orchestra led by Eric Miyashiro, and many more.
While the event itself is free, seats to watch the performance, however, must be reserved in advance via a LINE QR code, which you'll find at the venue. Check the event website for the performance schedules.
