For one weekend only, the large greenhouse at Jindai Botanical Gardens in Chofu is open for a special nighttime event between 5.30pm and 8.30pm. You'll be able to experience the greenhouse from a new perspective, as many of its plants only bloom after dark and most of its resident insects and animals are only active at night.
You can partake in activities, too, such as designing a fan with typical greenhouse motifs at the workshop. If you feel peckish, head over to the food trucks selling crepes, kakigori, roast-beef bowls and more.
