Kimoi-ten

Not one for the faint of heart, this summer exhibition at the Solamachi mall, found at the base of Tokyo Skytree, rounds up some of the world's most repulsive-looking creatures, from poisonous snakes and frogs to giant insects and humble cockroaches. It's called Kimoi-ten, meaning 'gross (or disgusting) exhibition', which of course makes us wonder if it really can be that yucky. Well, just don't think of it as a fitting highlight for a first date.
