Koriyama Marche at Log Road Daikanyama

Fukushima prefecture's Koriyama gets the spotlight at this weekend event at Log Road Daikanyama. Six different booths from the city itself showcase the best of the best, including Koriyama-branded vegetables, local breweries and a popular sweets shop. The farmers and locals themselves will be behind the stalls, so it's a great chance to have a chat with the people behind the food. There will also be a special menu created by a chef from Koriyama, and to top it all off, there will be a manju-making workshop by the people behind the Kashiwaya usukawa-manju, named one of the 'three best manju' in Japan. Got to be tasty then, eh?
