Time Out says

The Maker Faire showcases unique, handmade inventions by tech enthusiasts, scientists and garage tinkers. This year you'll see a wide range of creations from electronics to robotics, made possible with the latest in technology and displayed at around 280 booths.

Also check out the DIY workshops where you can make a costume out of cardboard, learn to solder, and try out Nerby Derby, an activity where children can enjoy constructing their own miniature cars which they then use to compete in a race. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance via the website at a discounted price of ¥1,000 (¥500 for 18 years old and under). Otherwise, tickets are available at the door for ¥1,500 (¥700).
