Time Out says

Soak up inspiration for your trip up northeast at this exhibition of all things Tohoku, which takes over the Marunouchi Building and Oazo with attractions like a 12m lantern pole from the famed Akita Kanto Matsuri, colourful streamers used at Sendai's Tanabata festival, and a miniature version of the 'floating castles' that symbolise the Tanabata celebrations in Akita's Noshiro. There'll also be sales of regional specialities from Tohoku's six prefectures, while the Marunouchi Wired Cafe nearby serves up local brews from the area. If you're planning a visit to any of the northeast's renowned festivals next summer, this Silver Week bash will be well worth a look.
