Time Out says

Focusing on Japanese crafts, the inaugural Monozukuri Takumi no Waza Festival is set to feature an exciting lineup of hands-on activities and workshops as well as stage events. The event offers four key themes: mechanics, interior finishing, Japanese cuisine and garments. So you can learn how to sew, make a key charm, cook a tamagoyaki omelette, try the traditional practice of kumiko (woodwork) with artisans, become a master at vegetable carving, or make your personal hanko stamp – the possibilities are endless.

The festival is free, but you’ll have to pay a fee to join the workshops. Make your reservations in advance here.

The event takes place from 10am to 6pm, until 5pm on August 7.
