Warm up your innards at Yokohama's Red Brick Warehouse in late February, which is when this 'nabe hut' will be opened on the facility's main plaza. Divided into two areas, the hot pot haven offers both freely customisable and pre-set 'conceptual' mixtures, with the latter including a fearsome concoction incorporating everything from prawns to brand pork, boiled in a soup made with sake lees. Motsunabe (hot pot with pork tripes) and a rich, miso-based pork mixture should also rank among the most popular offerings, which can all be combined with fine nihonshu from Iwate prefecture.
