New Year's Edo Aquarium

The Sumida Aquarium celebrates the coming of 2016 with a series of events themed on old Edo and its cultural traditions. From special exhibits featuring supposedly luck-bringing lobsters and seabream fish (tai) to a calligraphy performance (January 2 from 2pm), traditional dancing (twice daily January 4-7) and ninja shows (twice daily January 4-11), the programme is packed with old-school fun for visitors of all ages.
