Slurp soba noodles from all over the country and wash them down with fine sake at this stellar Yoyogi Park festival. Around 20 specialist eateries representing famed noodle-making regions (including Hokkaido's Horokanai and Fukushima’s Oku-Aizu) hawk their wares in the soba zone. The sake zone, meanwhile, is where you can taste over 100 varieties of nihonshu – or go for beginner-friendly sparkling sake and umeshu instead. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable: soba dishes go for ¥700 while the sake are priced at ¥300 to ¥500 per cup.
