Time Out says

Rent a kimono and enjoy a luxurious afternoon at the atmospheric Hotel Gajoen in Meguro. You’ll get dressed in a traditional Japanese attire with retro designs inspired by the Taisho Romanticism period. Your outfit comes complete with accessories like sandals, bags and hair decorations, plus a special tour of the Taisho Roman Hyakudan Kaidan (100-step staircase).

You can opt for the ¥17,000 course which includes an afternoon tea at Kanade Terrace, or ¥18,000 with lunch  at one of the hotel’s Chinese, Japanese or Italian restaurants. You can stay as long as you like in the hotel from 10am to 8pm. This gives you plenty of time to dress up, enjoy the facilities, dine and even take a stroll along the nearby Meguro river.
