Time Out says

Although we're obviously hoping Tokyo won't be hit by any more natural disasters in the years to come, it still pays to be both mentally and practically prepared. Raising awareness of extreme situations and providing basic survival knowledge are the admirable goals of this one-night 'camping experience' taking place in Yoyogi Park, where participants learn how to fend for themselves if forced to spend the night out in the open. Former policeman and risk management professional Ryuichi Asano will be leading the exercise, which should be a fun and challenging way to up your urban survival skills. Sign-up is here (site in Japanese only). Note that Japanese language ability is required in order to participate.
