SKIP City

Saitama Prefecture opened this ambitious creative industry hub in 2003, to mark the 50th anniversary of TV broadcasting in Japan. SKIP City provides a home to facilities including the Kawaguchi Science Museum, Kawaguchi Art School of Waseda University and Sai-No-Kuni Visual Plaza, which is also the site of the SKIP City International D-Cinema Festival each year.
