Musashikosugi in Kawasaki is the site for this year’s Tahiti Festa. At two venues – the plaza in front of Musashikosugi Station and the Grand Tree Musashikosugi shopping mall – you can shop for traditional accessories, interior goods and fashion, learn about Tahitian culture, and sip on local beer and pineapple juice.
The highlight, however, is the lineup of traditional Tahitian dance performances. You can watch over 1,000 dancers of 55 teams taking the stage over the three-day festival. And the best is, entry is free.
The event takes place from 11am to 8pm on all three days.
