Thai Festival 2013

If you couldn't afford a trip out of Japan during Golden Week, get the next best thing in Yoyogi Park this month, as the ever-popular Thai Festival returns for another two days of dancing, music, martial arts and generously spiced grub. This year's stage lineup includes performances by Thai-American hip hop crew Thaitanium, acoustic duo Tong & Jennie, and Kang, the designated Japanese speaker from boy band XIS, plus traditional Thai dance and Muay Thai demonstrations. You can also look forward to the usual array of stalls selling handicrafts, clothing, Singha beer and curry, including representatives from pretty much every Thai restaurant of note in Tokyo.
