'The Music of Quilts’ gathers music-related works created by eight popular quilt artists, such as Reiko Washizawa and her line of adorable animals inspired by the German fairytale ‘Town Musicians of Bremen’, and Kathy Nakajima with her reinterpretation of rock stars.
The second exhibition ‘Quilts of England – A Journey Through Textile Treasures’ showcases British masterpieces of the past, including those created in the first half of the 19th century, and modern pieces by contemporary artists.
Morever, the story of Curious George, an adorable character from a popular children’s book, is told through quilting and embroidery works as well.
