One of the UK’s top rock music festivals is moving to a beautiful new location

There are few greater feasts for the adventurous rockist than ArcTanGent. The independent, award-winning festival, which has been held at Fernhill Farm to the south of Bristol for the past 12 years, will return later this month for a sold-out 2026 edition with the likes of Chelsea Wolfe, Primus, Cult of Luna and Napalm Death.

ArcTanGent 2026 is taking place on August 19-22 and is shaping up like a typically excellent edition of the southwestern festival – but it’ll also mark the end of an era for ATG. It’ll be the last one at Fernhill Farm, with a new location lined up for 2027.

For its 2027 festival ArcTanGent will be heading two hours’ drive northeast into the Gloucestershire Cotswolds. On August 19-21 2027 ATG will take place at Todenham Manor Farm in Moreton-in-Marsh.

It’s an interesting move – not least because ArcTanGent is not moving to a site with a different capacity. Todenham Manor Farm is no bigger or smaller than Fernhill Farm, and ATG’s organisers have promised the same ‘great vibes’ and indoor stages, as well as a ‘very similar layout’.

The festival’s organisers explained their reasons for moving: ‘The truth is, the landowners at Fernhill decided last year, that they no longer wanted ATG on their farm. So we had to find a new home for ATG so the party could continue.’

That said, there are some differences between Todenham Manor and Fernhill. ATG says that the Gloucestershire site, while having the same capacity, will have more space in the campsite. Organisers also reckon the site will be much more beautiful, thanks to the Cotswolds’ rolling hills, and that it will have an ‘even lovelier’ VIP experience with a new bar nearer the arenas.

For those not based in the southwest, there will be further accessibility benefits. Todenham Manor Farm is easier to get to from the rest of the country, while international visitors will be able to get to the festival via Birmingham.
