Another year, another stellar edition of Download. The festival’s 2026 event took place last weekend (June 12-14) and while, sure, Guns N Roses’ headline set wasn’t to everyone’s taste, the rest of the bill delivered and a whopping 95,000 attendees enjoyed Download’s most diverse lineup ever. Plus, get this: the new-look main stage is now apparently the biggest single stage of any UK festival.

Already planning ahead to Download 2027? Early bird tickets are already on sale. This year’s DLXXIII was the festival’s fastest-selling event ever – and next year’s is set to be even huger.

The dates for next year’s festival have been confirmed. Download 2027 will take place from Wednesday June 9 to Sunday June 13 2027.

When do Download 2027 tickets go on sale?

Early bird tickets are on sale now, having gone live at midday on Monday June 15 2026. You can get tickets on Ticketmaster here.

Expect general sale to go live much later in the year, and expect headliners to be announced in the autumn. For 2026’s event, headliners were revealed the previous November.

Download 2027 lineup rumours

The bookies haven’t yet revealed odds on who could headline or play next year’s festival. Deftones, Foo Fighters, Avril Lavigne, Slipknot and Nine Inch Nails are among the names being shouted loudest on Download’s subreddit.
