Fans are convinced that the singer will announce a string of global dates following her Super Bowl halftime show

2023 is officially the year of the massive comeback. Queen Bey has announced her Renaissance World Tour, Madonna is celebrating 40 years in music with her first greatest-hits tour and now the rumour mill is buzzing with talk that Rihanna is about to swoop in and complete the holy trinity. What a time to be alive.
The ‘Navy’, as Riri’s fans call themselves, have been waiting for this moment for what feels like aeons. We already know that the singer will be performing for the first time in seven years at her much-hyped Super Bowl performance later this month (Sunday February 12 2023) but many are convinced that a tour will shortly follow. Here’s everything we know so far.
Long story short: we don’t know. But apparently we could find out soon, despite the fact that there’s still no confirmed news of an album.
It’s thought she will announce her North American dates first and will later confirm a European tour for 2024.
Last time around, her tour spanned 71 dates in cities across the world and included six UK shows, so if she does indeed hit the road this year we might expect something similar. However, an insider source recently told The Sun: ‘Her plan is to set up mini residencies in major cities rather than visit multiple places. She wants her next global outing to be swift and easy as she plans to refocus on Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty after her brief return to music.’
Unfortunately not. But don’t fret, we’re keeping an eye out so you don’t have to.
Since a tour hasn’t actually been confirmed yet, very little has been said on the matter by those in the music industry. It’s safe to say, though, that fans are in a bit of a frenzy over the whole thing.
It’s hoped that an announcement could follow hot on the heels of RiRi’s Super Bowl performance next week.
She last toured back in 2016 following the release of her album ‘Anti’. The ‘Diamonds’ singer has not taken to the stage since her 2018 Grammys performance, instead focusing on her fashion and beauty empire, Fenty.
