Remember the old adage? If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. It could not be more relevant to Glastonbury, the most famous music festival in the UK – and one that also happens to be among the most difficult to get tickets for.

The Worthy Farm event takes place in June, and although the general ticket sale sold out on the day, resale is taking place this month – meaning the battle isn’t over yet. Want to keep your eye on the prize and be in with more of a chance of attending the fabled festival? Grab a notebook, refresh yourself with the ticket hacks, and read on. Oh, and good luck!

When is the Glastonbury ticket resale?

Coach Plus Ticket packages will go on sale at 6pm (BST) on Thursday, April 20, followed by a General Admission tickets resale at 9am (BST) on Sunday, April 23.

There will also be a resale of Accommodation Options at noon on Thursday, April 27. Time to set those alarms!

The usual rules apply: everyone for whom you are booking must be registered, and if you plan to book for a group, you will need all their registration numbers and registered postcodes.

Registration closes at 5pm BST on Monday April 17, and will not reopen until after the resale – and if you are already registered, you can use your existing registration number and do not need to re-register.

How many Glastonbury tickets can you buy in the resale?

You can purchase up to four tickets per transaction in the general admission resale, but only book one ticket per registration. The coach package resale is limited to two tickets per transaction.

What’s the line-up this year?

Glastonbury has announced the first names of the 2023 line-up. Arctic Monkeys, Guns N’ Roses and Elton John have all been announced as Pyramid Stage headliners, with Lana Del Rey, Lizzo and Carly Rae Jepsen also playing the festival. More acts are still to be announced in due course.
