Yesterday (April 3) was an exciting day for Angels across the land, as we in the UK were finally blessed with news of Charli XCX’s upcoming tour. And better yet – it’s her biggest tour so far, taking on some of the country’s biggest arenas.
Ahead of her sixth studio album BRAT (which will be released on Friday June 7 2024), Charli announced tour dates, the album’s tracklist, and dropped two new singles from the album (‘Club Classics’ and ‘B2B’). BRAT is the much-anticipated follow up to her 2022 LP Crash, which hit number one on the UK album charts.
Charli XCX is set to perform in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow this autumn, in a run of headlining shows that will be some of the biggest that Charli has ever performed. Exciting, right? Here is everything you need to know about the Brat Tour.
When is Charli XCX going on her UK tour in 2024?
Charli’s tour kicks off on November 27 in Manchester and the final show will take place in Glasgow on December 2.
What UK dates have been confirmed?
The UK dates that have been confirmed for the BRAT tour are as follows:
Wednesday November 27, 2024 – Co-op Live Arena, Manchester
Thursday November 28, 2024 – The O2, London
Friday November 29, 2024 – Resorts World Arena, Birmingham
Monday December 2, 2024 – OVO Hydro Arena, Glasgow
She also will be performing at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Luton on May 25 and hold a PARTYGIRL DJ set party at Outernet in London on Friday June 7, though that latter show has already sold out.
When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets for the BRAT Tour go on general sale on Friday April 12 at 9am, and there’s more info on Charli’s website here.
Is there a presale?
Yes! Those who pre-order BRAT before 3pm on Tuesday April 9 will be given early access to tickets, and you can do that here. Presale will take place on Wednesday April 10 at 9am.
How much will tickets to Charli XCX’s Brat tour cost?
According to the Scotsman, tickets for Charli XCX’s show in Glasgow will range from £52.80-£81.15, and tickets for her Birmingham show start at £42.60. There haven’t yet been any prices officially announced for her London or Manchester shows.
Who is supporting Charli XCX?
Shygirl – British singer, songwriter, rapper and DJ – will be supporting on all four of Charli’s UK tour dates.
What’s been said about the tour so far?
Excitement for BRAT has been mounting, with Angels eagerly awaiting the noisy, intoxicating album it’s sure to be. The FACE described lead single ‘Von Dutch’ as a ‘club-ready banger inspired by the in-you-face electro-house anthems of the mid-‘00s Myspace era’ and said ‘the push-and-pull between vulnerability and braggadocio is at the heart of XCX6’.
