Bored of Brighton? Sick of Center Parcs? If you’re wanting a break from your typical UK staycation, a new opening promises to entertain big and small kids alike. Legoland has just revealed that it’ll be launching a brand-new holiday village in Windsor – and it’s set to open as early as spring next year.

The woodland-themed holiday village will cost a whopping £35 million to build and include 150 accommodation lodges across a 10-acre site. There will also be ‘brick-building activities’, as well as an on-site restaurant, nature trails, entertainment hub and story-time areas.

The news comes after Legoland also announced that it could soon be opening a new ‘duelling’ rollercoaster after submitting an application to the council last year.

And that’s not the only thing to look forward to: a new indoor mini-golf attraction has been confirmed to open at Legoland this year, with nine holes built around different lego themes. There will also be a new Ferrari-themed build-and-race activity, where children can build, test and digitally scan their Lego Ferrari onto a ‘racetrack’.

Prices at the Legoland woodland village will start from £249 for a family room that sleeps two adults and two kids, including breakfast and one-day park-entry tickets.
