That’s right – McDonald’s Monopoly is back! It’s a fan favourite, with good reason. Apparently 165 prizes were won every minute last year – that’s 10 million in total – so every customer is in with a pretty good chance of being awarded something. And the fast food chain goes all out with its loot of things to win. Last year, the top prizes included cars and luxury holidays.

What is McDonald’s Monopoly?
The promotion has been handing out prizes to fast food fans since 2005, so you should know the drill by now. All customers have to do to be in with a chance of winning is peel off and collect ‘game pieces’ (stickers) from selected items including fries, wraps, drinks and McFlurrys.
The stickers either contain instant-win prizes or properties that you might recognise from the Monopoly game board. Collect the properties for bigger prizes. Just like real Monopoly, sort of.
When does McDonald’s Monopoly start this year?
McDonald’s Monopoly is set to return to restaurants from next Wednesday, September 6 and will run until Tuesday, October 17.
What are the McDonald’s Monopoly 2023 prizes?
You’ve got the ‘Instant Win’ prizes and bigger ‘Collect to Win’ prizes, which you can win by accumulating all the property pieces of the same colour. Prizes range from McDonald’s socks to a £2000 holiday.
Four extremely lucky customers could win the £100k top cash prize and another 20 are in with the chance of bagging a Mini electric car (that’s the car brand Mini, not just a very small car). There’s also 2000 McDonald’s Gold Cards up for grabs, which give the owners one free meal a week for a whole year.
