MCR’s Long Live the Black Parade tour lands in Liverpool on Tuesday. Here’s all the essential information

Here’s something that’ll make you feel old: it’s been two decade since My Chemical Romance released their career-defining album The Black Parade. The rock-opera record is dear to the hearts of emos (and former emos) everywhere and in 2024, MCR announced that they would be giving fans are chance to see the album played live by their alter-egos once more.
The Long Live the Black Parade tour began in north America last summer and it’s now the UK’s turn. Gerard Way, Ray Toro, Frank Iero and Mikey Way will kick off the UK leg of their tour at Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium on Monday. After that, the guys will be heading to Glasgow, then London.
If you’ve got tickets for Anfield or considering picking some up last minute, carry on reading – we’ve got everything you need to know.

The band will bring Long Live The Black Parade tour to Liverpool on Tuesday June 30 2026.
Fans can enter the stadium from 5pm.
Timings for the Liverpool show haven’t been confirmed yet but based on previous dates, you can probably expect them to come out at roughly 8pm.
This is the stadium map at Anfield, according to Ticketmaster.
Rock veterans and local legends Echo & The Bunnymen will be opening the show with eighties bangers like ‘The Killing Moon’, ‘Lips Like Sugar’ and ‘The Cutter’.
Setlist’s are always subject to change, but based on MCR’s other shows on the tour so far we can expect it to go a little bit like this:
If you’re starting to get FOMO ahead of MCR in Liverpool, there is a way to solve that. Ticketmaster still has general and resale tickets up for grabs from £69.
You’ll also find options on resale sites like Stubhub and Viagogo. They’re both backed by a FanProtect Guarantee which promises that your tickets will be valid for entry or you get your money back.
Bags no bigger than A4 are fine. Any bigger than that and you won’t be allowed to take it into the venue.
Here’s everything else that is strictly not allowed inside Anfield.
Right now, the forecast says that Liverpool will be around 20-21C on the day of the concert. There is a chance there will be some drizzle during the show so if you’re out in the open, remember to bring a raincoat.
