As more and more customers switch to online banking, banks in the UK are shutting greater numbers of high-street branches. Consumer experts Which? reckon more than 6,000 British high-street bank branches have shut in the UK in the last decade, and more than 1,400 of those have been in NatWest group (NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland and Ulster Bank).
Earlier this year NatWest group announced a slew of further closures, with dozens shutting before the end of June. And now the bank has announced when even more locations will shut: 26 more branches will close this month, September 2025.
Worried about your local NatWest closing? Here’s what you need to know about which locations and closing, and when.
