Oasis’ reunion residency in Manchester is officially underway. The Gallagher brothers landed at Heaton Park for their opening two shows in Manchester last weekend (July 11 and 12) and put on a hell of a show, with Noel confirming ‘this is the place’ and Liam saying: ‘Oasis vibes in the area. Manchester vibes in the area’. The run continued on Wednesday (July 16), and it was just as epic – all that’s left are the band’s final two Manchester shows.

Oasis’ 2025 summer reunion tour is, for many Brits, the year’s most hotly anticipated event – and it’s already delivering on the hype. The reunion shows so far have delivered spectacular nights with top-notch performances and setlists packed with hits not heard by the band for decades. Over 900,000 tickets have been sold for the brothers’ UK shows in Cardiff, Manchester, London and Edinburgh, where they’ll play some of the country’s grandest, most legendary arenas.

Nowhere else, however, is the Oasis hype quite like it has been in Manchester. The Gallaghers’ shows at Heaton Park aren’t just more tour stops: these are homecoming dates at a venue that has a special place in the band’s history. Oasis played three nights at Heaton Park back in 2009 and this time they’ve upped the ante, lining up five dates. A total of 400,000 people will see Oasis in Manchester, with Heaton’s capacity boosted to 80,000 each night.

If you’re lucky enough to have nabbed a ticket for Oasis’ remaining Heaton Park gigs, here’s everything you need to know about the shows – from timings and transport to any remaining ticket availability.

Can you still get tickets?

All of Oasis’ Manchester dates sold out in minutes, but in the months since tickets went on sale a few have popped up on resale. On Ticketmaster here all Heaton Park shows are marked as having ‘low availability’, though none actually have any tickets available. Keep an eye out, just in case any pop up.

Sites like Stubhub also have tickets available, though, as always, exercise caution when buying anything on resale sites.

How to get to Heaton Park

Getting to Heaton Park from Manchester city centre is easy enough, with the Green line running directly to the venue from Victoria. Buses x35, 59, 90, 135, 149, 156, 164 and 484 also serve the park.

It’s worth bearing in mind that it is notoriously tricky to get away from Heaton Park, post-gig. The walk to the city centre is long (up to two hours, depending on crowds), and buses, trams and taxis will be very busy. Expect to wait.

How much will a pint cost at Heaton Park?

The venue has confirmed that pints of beer and cider will be priced from £6.50. Which is expensive but not too bad, by the standards of modern music events.i

Weather forecast

The Gallagher brothers’ reunion gigs finish up this weekend, and after decent (occasionally scorching) weather for the first three shows, the final two may not be quite so balmy. For the final two gigs (July 19-20), here’s the forecast:

Saturday July 19 – the Met Office has a moderate thunderstorm warning in place for Saturday, though this is largely for the daytime. By the evening the weather will likely still be a bit rainy and cloudy, though with less thunder/lightning. Temperatures will range from 17C to 19C.

Sunday July 20 – Sunday is looking less stormy but still a little rainy. Temps will be in the 17C-20C range, and it looks like there’s less chance of rainy as the night goes on.

Where to buy official Oasis merchandise

The band has a pop-up with official merch at The Avenue, Spinningfields, which is open daily from 10am to 7.30pm. The store will remain open until July 27.

There are other Oasis merch options from the likes of Adidas, Hollister, Abercrombie & Fitch, Levi’s, Urban Outfitters and H&M, which you can find out more about here.

There’s also an online shop for Oasis merch here.

Reviews so far

As with the first Oasis reunion shows in Cardiff, reviews of the band’s Manchester gigs have been resoundingly positive. In a five-star review the Telegraph’s Poppie Platt described the event as a ‘perfect, priceless homecoming’ and ‘the real one fans had been waiting for’.

Another five-star review from the Manchester Evening News said the gig was ‘a homecoming of epic proportions’, writing: ‘Is there anything more Mancunian than wrapping your arm around the stranger next to you, chucking your pint as far as the eye can see, and belting out the words to The Masterplan, Don’t Look Back In Anger and Wonderwall?’
